AFTER reading the article “Unions call for support in face of job losses” by Janice Harris (Central Western Daily, Saturday, November 3), I am disappointed that our elected member for Orange Andrew Gee does not represent the interests of his constituents.

Mr Gee seems to only represent his government’s typical “we’re broke” stance.
These savage cutbacks, which our elected member supports and votes for, has left his electorate with cuts to education and paramedics, the latter so under-resourced it’s affecting public safety.
Our member seems in favour of cuts to workers’ compensation journey claims which affect people living in country areas the most.
It’s about time the people of Orange had an elected member who is truly local and stands up for his constituents, not somebody whose main concern is to improve on his acting career.
Gavin Hillier,
