Better known to blokes over 40 as 'Lindsay at the Hotel Canobolas', Lindsay Totman is one of the few remaining traditional male barbers still trading in the city.
His famous barbershop within the Hotel Canobolas is a local institution, and now a further honour hangs upon its wall.
The Rotary Club of Orange Calare has held a ceremony to give Mr Totman an award for pride in his workmanship, presented to him at a special lunch at Duntryleague.
It now takes centre place among a collection of framed cartoons in his hotel salon.
“It (the award) is a nice thing, I was completely surprised to get it,” he said. “I must be doing something right.”
