His Excellency David Hurley and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley spent time speaking with local students and school principals, including William, Charlotte and Mr Glen Westcott.
Mr and Mrs Hurley were in Parkes for the day for the 25th anniversary of Paint Parkes REaD, which was celebrated over three day from September 6-8.
The couple took the time to meet our local schools while they were here.
Mrs Hurley is a patron of the Paint The Town REaD organisation and movement.
Our Reading Day anniversary coverage:

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity and thank CSIRO and Parkes Shire Council for the opportunity.
