Do that, and Orange City will go a long way to taking down the juggernaut that is minor premiers Waratahs in this weekend’s Orange District Cricket Association third grade grand final at Riawena Oval.
Cyriac has blasted an incredible 554 runs at 55.4 this season and taken 25 wickets at 23 as well, and shapes as the undeniable key to the sky blues’ premiership hopes.
He’s in pretty red-hot form too, considering he clobbered 101 not out in his last dig and picked up two wickets to round out a man-of-the-match performance in that final round win over Cavaliers too.
Waratahs enter the grand final – which starts at 1pm on Saturday and continues at 11am on Sunday – as short-priced favourites after finishing 9.26 points clear on top of the table, while Orange City was forced to take the hard road through the preliminary final.
The two sides do seem well-matched though, they’ve shared the spoils so far in 2017-18 with one win each and a draw as well.
Manu Sebastian and Manu Mohan are also key players for the sky blues, while Orange City skipper Josh Cheney, Mick Evans and Jeremy Bartier are among the big names for the Warriors.
