Torley, 12, took just 18 minutes and 21 seconds to win by more than two minutes over her nearest rival.
Joasia Zakrzewski was second [20.28] with Ella Lamrock home in third place in 21.54.
Amber Rich was fourth [22.41] followed by Hanna Gross [22.47] who was competing in the under 10 section.
Torley’s time was only three minutes slower than the fastest man, her elder brother Josh.
The Canberra girl said it was a top run.
“It was really good,” she said.
Torley said she led all the way.
“I’ve done the five kilometre before, this was my first win,” she said.
Torley finished fifth overall, just one second behind another young runner, Thomas Dale.
He finished first in the 14-15 years section.
