Charlie Locke played great winning in three while Steve Blackwoods finals form is now a thing of the past going down 3-0 to the athletic Pat Clarkstone.

Ian Middleton won in three as did George Eleftheriou and the enigmatic Peter Brearley.

Robyn Chapman and Yvonne Tracey played the match of the night, with Yvonne coming back from 2-1 down to take the fifth in a cliffhanger, but Robyn’s two sets wasenough to clinch victory for her team.
