Preschoolers got a taste of big school at Catherine McAuley Catholic Primary School on Friday when they attended their kindergarten orientation.

The children will be among the 62 kindergarten students at the school next year.
Having already had a tour of the school, the children played games, took part in activities and caught up with new friends made at the first orientation last week.

Michelle Partridge took her youngest child Mia to the orientation.
“She’s our last one so [I’m a] bit sad but excited for her,” she said.
Cass Bennett said she enrolled her son Max in the school because it had a good reputation and was close to home.
“He’s so excited, completely excited, completely ready, no separation issues there,” Mrs Bennett said.
