Rotary Clubs from Orange, Molong and Blayney have banded together to host a pre-release screening of Murder on the Orient Express at the Odeon 5 Cinemas.
Tickets are $20 each available at the door, with the movie starting at 6.45pm.
Rotary’s Scott Kable said half the tickets had already been sold, with funds raised supporting the service club’s push to eradicate polio world-wide.
Mr Kable said it was only Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan were polio cases were still being discovered.
“Just 37 polio cases were confirmed worldwide in 2016, and only 13 so far in 2017 which is a reduction of more than 99.9 percent since the 1980s, when the world saw about 1,000 cases per day,” Mr Kable said.
He said the Rotary Foundation started its PolioPlus campaign in 1995 and had immunised two billion children in 122 countries.
