A man spent 30 minutes trapped in his Ford Explorer after pulling out from the kerb into the path of an oncoming car on March Street at about 1.30pm Tuesday.
He was rescued by firefighters and transported to Orange Health Service (OHS) for treatment.
The driver of the other car – a Holden Colorado – had minor airbag related injuries as well as minor injuries to the foot after swerving to avoid the Explorer.
They were taken to OHS as a precaution. Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said police were making further inquiries.
