The volume of donations received in the city has grown beyond what it can store.
Before moving to a bigger warehouse, Vinnies is holding a garage sale.
Toys, kitchen and homewares, furniture and even surplus shop fittings from Myer are available.
Warehouse supervisor Melissa Stewart said there would be around two to three stores worth of goods which would be priced to clear.
“We’d love to see hundreds of people and would love to see all the stock cleared,” Miss Stewart said.
Money raised will support the charity’s services which assisted 4800 people in the Bathurst Diocese in the last financial year.
Financial controller Graham Higham said that included 1900 people who received help from Vinnies for the first time, whether it was for food, accommodation, electricity bills.
Vinnies garage sale kicks off at 9am on Saturday July 8 and will run until 1pm at 2 Corporation Place.
