The Rhinos trumped Canowindra last weekend, and will face another test in the Goannas at home, where they’re much harder to topple.
Grenfell is out for revenge after a round one loss to Manildra, while the Rhinos just keep winning. The Rhinos have been excellent all season, while the Goannas have been hot and cold.
Cargo, coming off a loss to Trundle, return home to host the Golden Eagles.
Eugowra must win to keep its Woodbridge Cup finals hopes alive, but the Blue Heelers are a massive mountain to climb when facing them in Cargo.
If the Heelers eradicate the errors that hurt them so badly last week, that will go a long way to downing the improving Eagles.
On Saturday, Canowindra hosts Condobolin. Like Eugowra, the Tigers must win to stay in touch with the top five. The new-look Rams are travelling well and will be looking to back up a 40-30 win from round one.
The final match of this weekend’s round has Burrangong hosting Peak Hill, the Roosters are favoured to take down the last-placed Bears. Trundle has the bye.
