Year 11 and 12 chemistry teachers from Catholic high schools in the Bathurst Diocese are taking part in a two-day chemistry workshop at James Sheahan Catholic High School on Wednesday and Thursday.

The workshop will focus on implementation of the new preliminary Higher School Certificate (HSC) syllabus for 2018 and the new HSC for 2019.
Changes to the chemistry syllabus will include an increase in mathematical skills that are required.
The HSC reforms cover curriculum, assessment and standards.
