Nearly everyone would mention the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour or the Big Pineapple at Nambour.
With a bit more thought they could probably name a couple more; the Big Shell at Tewantin, the Big Merino at Goulburn, the Big Prawn at Ballina, or the Big Bull at Wauchope.
So, two questions have to be asked: is Orange missing out? And what should our city’s ‘big thing’ be’?
