Rotary Club of Orange Daybreak member Bob Derrick said several thousand marketgoers, some dressed in Santa hats and reindeer ears, browsed through “more than 50 stalls” to stock up for Christmas day. “The Christmas Farmers Market tends to be more popular than the regular markets because the weather is always beautiful and Northcourt is the perfect setting,” Mr Derrick said.
Market manager Holly Manning said she was excited to see the markets “thriving and continuing to thrive”. “There’s lots of people stocking up for Christmas. We’ve seen people ordering their hams and picking them up today,” Ms Manning said.
