While 7100 UBs viewed our online Group 10 grand final coverage on Sunday, capped by a stunning 14-10 victory by the Mudgee Dragons over Orange CYMS.

In total, the coverage contributed to a over 230,000 page impressions on the Central Western Daily’s website on Sunday, a massive flow of traffic.

Social media wise, the CWD’s Sport Facebook page’s live video of the final moments of Mudgee’s win has been viewed nearly 6000 times, and boasts an impression count nearing 80,000.

While the Facebook post on the Blayney Bears’ league tag win was shared 25 times.

“The interest around the game is definitely there,” Group 10 president Linore Zamparini said.

“I think with the weather obviously played its part, and there would have been people in Orange who were detered by that.

“But there’s obviously plenty of people who have moved away form the area who still follow it all, which is great for our exposure.”
