That’s the message from Dragons supremo Rob O’Connor to his chargers ahead of Sunday’s Group 10 grand final at Wade Park.
Mudgee has stormed from fifth to book a spot in the decider, and O’Connor says an excellent level of commitment from the entire club has enabled it to succeed in 2016.
“The foundation for this weekend’s opportunity for our players can be found in the commitment to training, our coaches, each other and the club by core groups of players in each of the five teams in our club since the beginning of February,” he said, the club’s under-18s also in action on grand final day.
Mudgee’s rise to Sunday’s grand final started in Oberon, with a 42-22 win over the Tigers at the Oberon Sportsground.
In back-to-back games at Carrington Park, Tony Pascoe’s side then chalked up 20-4 and 22-20 victories over St Pat’s and Panthers respectively to make the decider.
