As of Friday, September 9 there are five candidates for the seat:
- Scott Barrett (The Nationals)
- Bernard Fitzsimon (Country Labor)
- Scott Munro (Independent)
- Philip Donato (Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party)
- Janelle Bicknall (Greens)
Traditionally a Nationals stronghold, polling numbers published in the Sydney Morning Herald suggests Orange will be more closely contested this time around.
