In their match earlier in the season, the Panthers beat the Bears here in Blayney by two points.
Bears coach Steve Mooney said that the Panthers were a tough and experienced team and that the game was going to be tough.
“They’re a young side and they’re going to be a great side for a very long time,” he said, “The game this weekend is sure to go down to the wire.”

Following ground closures and sodden ovals, this week the team had their first training session on grass and Mooney said that their playing style would prove to be the winning ingredient.
“They’re really starting, right now, to start thinking footy,” he said, “They play really well as a team and throw the ball around really well, which is different to the Panthers who are more direct in their style.”
The winner of Sunday’s match will be up against St Pats in the grand final.
