Orange scored three wins and a draw to finish first in pool B and qualify for Sunday morning’s semi-final against Far North Coast, winning 1-0 in a tight affair to win through to the decider that afternoon.
Facing the also undefeated Goulburn, Orange lost out 1-0 in a nail-biter.
Orange defeated Southern Highlands (1-0), Illawarra South Coast (5-0) and Newcastle (1-0) in the group stages and also drew with fellow central west side Parkes (1-1) to finish first.
