MEMBERS of the Canobolas Zone Rural Fire Service (RFS) will participate in the Cancer Council Relay for Life this year, with the team being captained by Ash Morrow.

Mr Morrow said having a relay team was a tribute to the many people in the RFS that have been affected by the disease.
“RFS has been doing Relay for Life for the last five years,” Mr Morrow said.
“This year we’d like to raise $2000.”
Mr Morrow leads a busy life, volunteering for the Tallwood, Blayney and North West Orange brigades, managing the Orange High School show and being nominated for the Orange Young Citizen of the Year Award, but this has not stopped him from doing another good service for Orange and its community.
The RFS relay team plans to host a trivia night, run a raffle and sell wristbands among their fundraising activities.
The Orange and District Cancer Council Relay for Life event will be at the Waratah Sports Club on April 2-3.
