INSPIRED by her travels throughout Africa, Europe and Australia, Orange-based photographer Kerry Frager hopes her debut exhibition will be enjoyable but also educate people to think about the ways they take photos and even life itself.

The collection, titled Perspectives features 17 works, mostly in 40x50cm frames.
The images have descriptions which are thought provoking, such as “Where do we all fit in?” and “Life is short. Be colourful. Have fun”.
The artist said the aims of the exhibition are to get people to reflect on the bigger picture of life.
“I aim to get people to inspire people to reflect on the world,” Ms Fragar said.
“People should stop racing through life and look at the beauty in things.”
She said as a photographer she doesn’t strive to capture one specific subject, style or genre, rather she’s driven to capture her own unique perspective of the diverse beauty which surrounds us, in the natural environment, our interaction and our influence upon it.
“Intrigue can be found in the simplest of scenes... I am fascinated by our perceived place in the world, where we dominate and where we feel small,” she said.
“My work is a reflection of aesthetics which first capture my eye, my imagination and stirs something deeper within.”
The exhibition will be on show at The Corner Store Art Gallery, 382 Summer Street until Sunday, October 18.
The gallery is open today and Sunday from 10am to 4pm and on Monday from 10am to 1pm.
