Join with the likes of Clifton Grove and Summer Hill Creek residents who are already picking up soiled nappies, electrical gear and other items that cost money, or are not allowed, to be dumped at the tip.
I note that these decisions on garbage and what to do with it are being made by a group of old blokes with no babies or preschool children.
This is today’s world and I believe young families have enough to deal with without microprocessing rubbish or double wrapping nappies in plastic as the mayor suggested (an old bloke’s solution).
Already we have a big problem at Kinross State Forest with rubbish been dumped, and this will happen to all areas around Orange. How will the Rural Fire Service conduct control burns with rubbish all through the forested areas?
Councillors expect ratepayers to do most of the sorting, and pay top dollar for the collecting.
