Incumbent Nationals member Andrew Gee retained the seat with an increased majority and gathered with family, friends and party well-wishers at the Parkview Hotel.

Labor candidate Bernard Fitzsimon and his supporters met at Kelly's Hotel, while the Greens' Janelle Bicknell also took the time to thank her helpers after the polls had closed.
