Played on the thick kikuyu fairways and small bent grass greens of Wellington Golf Club, Duntryleague won out over Wentworth convincingly, earning a 4-1 victory to progress to the decider.
Only Craig Stojanovic lost his tie to his Wentworth counterpart, losing out 5 and 4 to Dallas Kelly.
Dean Turner won out over Jordan Clark (4 and 3), Rob Parfett defeated Steve Bray 1 up, James Conran thumped Matt Williamson 6 and 4 while Robert Payne overcame Mitch Williamson 5 and 4.
Duntryleague will take on Dubbo in this Sunday’s decider, after the latter also won its semi-final, defeating Parkes 3-2.
The decider will be hosted by Forbes, and incredibly, Dubbo will have the chance at a rare clean sweep with its division two, three and four sides all winning through to their respective grand finals as well.
Dubbo defeated Forbes 4-1 in division two, and will take on Parkes after the latter won out 4-1 over Wellington.
In division three Dubbo will clash with Wentworth after the two sides defeated Duntryleague (3-2) and Bathurst (4-1) respectively.
In division four Dubbo won 3-2 over Bathurst in a nail-biting semi-final, and will take on Wellington, which defeated Cowra 3-2.
