From 8am to 2pm on Sunday, December 14 and Sunday, December 21 the markets will give people a change to do their Christmas shopping and raise money for a good cause.
The markets are run by the Rotary Club of Orange each year as part of its fundraising for local schools and youth activities such as the Bowen Public School music lessons and breakfast program, Canobolas Rural Technology High School leadership programs and the primary schools sustainable cooking challenge.
Market manager Clivia Frieden said the markets were popular last year and were set to be just as good this year.
“We have a great variety of stalls, ranging from fresh produce and hot food to jewellery, house decor, craft, plants and every kind of gift you can imagine,” she said.
“Ideal for that last-minute Christmas shopping, the markets will provide an opportunity for growers, manufacturers and producers to showcase and sell their wares, for others to recycle goods, and for the community to come together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”
Rotary will also have Christmas trees for sale and they can be pre-ordered by phoning Don on 0412 252 293 or email haymandon@gmail.com.
