Lachlan Murdoch and James Packer to resist Ten debt deal

Lachlan Murdoch and James Packer would resist any proposal to refinance Ten Network Holding's debt and would prefer to accept a fairly-priced takeover offer for the equity of the company – which received a 23¢ a share, $605 million takeover offer from Discovery Communications and Foxtel on Tuesday night.
