UNLIKE a lot of top flight footballers who've shunned the concept, Orange product Jack Wighton says he's rapt to be part of the Country Origin side set to tackle City at Dubbo on Sunday.

A raft of players have pulled the pin on representing both City and Country sides at Apex Oval but the CYMS junior, who debuted with Country in last year's fixture at Coffs Harbour, told the Canberra Raiders he can't wait to head back to the central west.

"I've got a lot of family in Gilgandra, Dubbo, Wellington and Orange," the Raiders five-eighth said for Raiders TV.

"They be coming from everywhere. It'll be great to see them all."
