ORANGE Emus coach Andrew Logan was a satisfied man on Saturday afternoon.
His side ran out comprehensive 27-5 winners over Parkes Boars in their Blowes Clothing Cup clash at Endeavour Oval, racking up a valuable four-try bonus point in the process.
Logan credited the win to a spirited display from his forwards, who overran their highly-touted opposition.
His counterpart, Parkes' Trevor Whitaker, was philosophical after the loss, acknowledging a number of absences from his usually star-studded line up had hurt their performance.
