The first accident occurred at around 1.30pm near the Endsleigh Avenue intersection, where two vehicles collided.
The road was closed in both directions for about half an hour, but at the time of going to print police were still on the scene.
Inspector David Harvey said a female driver was taken to hospital with a broken leg, while the other driver, a man, was also taken to hospital, but details of his injuries were unclear.
The second accident occurred about 20 minutes later when a vehicle ran into the back end of a Triumph motorcycle near the corner of Peisley Street and Summer Street.
Both drivers were taken to Orange hospital for treatment, with the driver of the car released a short time later.
The motorcycle rider was admitted for non-life threatening treatment for a hip injury.
