While Monday's temperature is currently sitting on the August average, the temperature is expected to reach 15 degrees tomorrow and up to 18 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.
During August, Orange has a long term average maximum of 11.0 degrees, with a minimum of 2.1.
The warm early spring weather should continue for the rest of the week according to Weatherzone meteorologist Rob Sharpe.
"It's a very big contrast to what we had last week," he said.
"[Last] Tuesday was a maximum of 4.7 degrees and tomorrow is expected to reach 15."
"From Tuesday to Tuesday there was a difference of 10 degrees."
Mr Sharpe said last week was the second coldest experienced this winter for eastern Australia.
For the rest of this week Orange can expect temperatures to stay above average with a top of 16 degrees on Friday, 17 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday.
Mr Sharpe said temperatures over the next two weeks are expected to be fairly warm.
