Two 17-year-old males were arrested and questioned at Orange Police Station yesterday afternoon as part of an investigation into the savaging of several sheep on a property on Long Point Road at Mullion Creek several weeks ago.

Inspector Dave Harvey of Orange Police said one of juveniles had been released under the Young Offenders Act without charge pending further inquiries.
The other teenager, from Orange, was charged with eight counts of aggravated animal cruelty, five counts of animal cruelty, five counts of stealing cattle and entering enclosed lands.
He was bailed to appear at Orange Children’s Court on June 6.
