ORANGE has won back the men's A grade AXA Financial Planning inter town title after two days of competition finished in Orange yesterday.
Orange defeated defending champions Bathurst Panthers 31-14 to take out the A grade crown.
The team of George Eleftheriou, Mick Keegan, Rod Ryan, Peter Blackburn and Steve Elliott won the A grade title.
In the women's A grade Bathurst Panthers defeated Parkes convincingly 46-2.
The combined A grade shield for men and women also went to Panthers who beat Orange 60-31 for the title.
The two-day tournament played at the Orange Squash Centre and Kinross Wolaroi was also successful for the Orange men's B grade team, beating Dubbo 10-2.
The B grade team of Glen Atkinson, Steve Elliott, Basel Crayford and Chris Dwyer took out the title for Orange.
In the women's B grade Mudgee defeated Dubbo 31-29, while Dubbo won the combined B grade shield.
In C grade Forbes won the women's and combined shield and Rlystone the men's.
D grade went to Warren in the women's and Oberon won the men's and combined shield.
There was a record 58 teams competing in the annual tournament, which attracts squash players from across the Central West.
