They were the words of an elated Emmanual Rodriguez from Orange, talking to the Central Western Daily after the judges and audience went into raptures over their performance on the Prime Television show Australia’s Got Talent on Tuesday night.
Judge Brian McFadden was so impressed he stood on the judges’ table and applauded. Even an often hard-to-win-over Kyle Sandilands was full of praise for the group’s performance.
“I have no doubt that if we had been in a dance competition we would have won,” Mr Rodriguez said.
“Please everyone in Orange vote for us.”
Mr Rodriguez said the dance group’s scheduling as the second last act added to the pressure to perform well.
“That gave us more time to be nervous,” he said. “But as soon as the music started we knew we were going to nail it.
“We went out there knowing this was it - it was our last chance to get it right.”
Voting closes at noon on Friday. To vote text Justice to 1997 7772 or phone 1902 553 337.
