Stemming from the royal commission into defence and veteran suicide, the Senate inquiry will hear evidence of how sport can benefit veterans with physical and mental impairments, and how the Australian Defence Force can use adaptive sports.
The inquiry will give specific thought to how sport can help veterans at specific risk of suicide.
What funding can be given to adaptive sports, particularly for those who aren't part of the Invictus Games process, will also be examined.
The inquiry is calling for submissions and will report back by March 30.
