DUBBO shooter Bob Dowling has finished the Central West Championships at the Orange Pistol Club with three titles.
Dowling won the A grade 25m rapid fire, 25m standard and 25m centre-fire events during the two-day competition.
In the 25m centre-fire Dowling shot 567/600 to beat Parkes' Tony Drabsch (562/600) and Orange's Dean Brus, who shot 557/600.
Orange shooters fared well at the annual championships with David Oates winning the 10m air A grade event with 561/600 in front of David Hill (Dubbo) and Brus.
Max Wicks won the 10m air C grade, while 22-year-old Mitchell Meredith won the D grade event.
In his first official competition Meredith, who took up the sport five months ago, also won the D grade 25m rapid fire.
Wicks also won dual titles with a win in the 50m pistol D grade, with Orange's Roy Dennison in third place.
In women's events, Orange's Helen Johnson won the 10m air C grade with 332/600, while former Orange shooter, Helen Lord, who now shoots in Parkes, won the B grade 25m women's sport and the C grade 10m women's air.
