The Orange product finished up her WBBL season with the Sydney Thunder on November 20 in a season that saw her bat at three in all but one game.
On December 14, Cricket NSW announced it's squad that would this week travel to Melbourne for a pair of back-to-back clashes with Victoria.
The side will be led by skipper Alyssa Healy and coached by Gavan Twining and also features six Australian representatives past and present in Healy, Erin Burns, Stella Campbell, Hannah Darlington, Ashleigh Gardner and Rachael Haynes.
The matches will mark Haynes' return to elite cricket following a hamstring injury sustained while playing for the national side in September.
Teenagers Jade Allen and Claire Moore and swing bowler Emma Hughes are all in line to debut if selected in the starting 11.
Litchfield already has ten List-A games under her belt, where she averages 37.28 with the bat.
Australian and Victorian captain Meg Lanning will miss the matches as she readies herself for a demanding second half of the summer, with Ellyse Perry to captain the Vics against her old state.
Lanning's unavailability means Victoria will be without three internationals for the start of the domestic 50-over season, with spinners Sophie Molineux and Georgia Wareham side-lined through injury.
The squad announcement comes less than a week after Cricket NSW announced a 2-year partnership with Charter Hall Group, focussed on supporting the State's elite women's teams.
Charter Hall are now designated as an Official Partner of Cricket NSW, Major Partner of the NSW Breakers, Official Sydney Sixers & Sydney Thunder WBBL Partner, Official Partner of NSW Indigenous Women's Team and NSW State Challenge (female youths).
As part of its partnership, Charter Hall will run a Mentoring Program, where senior Charter Hall employees will become mentors to NSW Women's Team players.
NSW will take on Victoria on December 17 and 19 at Melbourne's Junction Oval.
Both fixtures will be streamed live via cricket.com.au and Kayo Sports.
