Of those cases, one case was announced for Wellington and nine cases were recorded for the Cabonne Local Government Area just outside of Orange.

Eight of those cases have addresses connected to the Molong area; the location for the ninth Cabonne case has not been announced.

There were no new cases identified in Orange or Blayney Local Government areas.

Molong Central School joined St Joseph's Primary School in enforcing another immediate school closure on Friday, December 3, due to more confirmed cases in the school community.

MCS announced Rapid Antigen Home Tests would be at the bus bay on King Street in Molong between the hours of 10.30am to 12.30pm for families to collect for students.

St Joseph's Primary School in Molong are still awaiting students' RAHT kits, with families to continue with online learning indefinitely.

RAHT kits for students will be provided by schools, where ongoing attendance will be determined for seven consecutive days. This on-site method of testing for students will require a negative result on a daily basis.

Outside of school hours during the RAHT period, students will still be required to self-isolate; seven days from the last date of exposure for those unvaccinated and 14 days from the last date of exposure for unvaccinated children (under 12).

The pop-up clinic at the Old Railway Station in Molong will continue to operate over the weekend from 10am to 3pm.

Wellington residents can access testing at Kennard Park from 10am to 4pm.

Drive-through testing will remain in Orange at Wade Park and the Orange Showground from 8am to 4pm.

Statewide, NSW has recorded 337 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm on Thursday.

This figure has jumped by 66 cases in NSW from the most recent reporting period up to 8pm on Wednesday evening.

Zero deaths were recorded, with 140 hospital cases receiving treatment for the virus and 25 cases in ICU.

Figures for people aged 16+ are at 94.6 per cent for one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine received and 92.6 per cent of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
