There are also reports of homes in the Molong area having to be evacuated.
No diversions have been announced at this stage.
Water is also reported to be over the highway, at Market Street near Castle Street in Molong.
The flooding comes as heavy downpours drenched the region on Thursday and Friday with the total rainfall in Orange topping a whopping 300.8 milimetres in this month.
From 9am Thursday to 2pm Friday, Orange Airport recorded 51.8 mm of rain, which fell on already sodden ground.
The city has now received five times its average rainfall for November, making it Orange's wettest November since records began at the airport in 1996.
So far, there have only been nine rain-free days in November and it looks like there may not be many more.
The Bureau of Meteorology says there's a 60 percent chance of rain on Saturday and 70 percent chance on Monday and Tuesday, with 0-3mm possible on both days.
