Born November 12, 1920, Mrs Meyer says she's lived a "very fortunate" life; experiencing the joys of marriage, parenthood, and good health, to name but a few.
When asked if there was a secret to living a long and happy life, Mrs Meyer explained how, essentially, it involved good luck, and maintaining a good sense of humour.
"I've just been very, very fortunate," Mrs Meyer replied.
"[Having a sense of humour] helps with life sometimes, when you can see the funny side of things. So, there's no secret really dear; I didn't plan any of it."
During the Roarin' 20s and the 1930s, Mrs Meyer grew up in Tallwood - a town between Forrest Reefs and Millthorpe - before she eventually married Ray Meyer, and later moved to a farm in Spring Terrace.

Proud mother to three - Lesley Baker, Dale Meyer, and Cheryl Lobsey - Mrs Meyer's face also lit up when she talked about her seven grandchildren, and 19 great-grand children.
"The eldest is 25, and the youngest is four ... and there's only three little girls!" Mrs Meyer explained.
Discovering her birthday milestone was thoughtfully "dobbed in" by close friend from the Orange Art Society Wanda Driscoll, Mrs Meyer offered a word on seeing the beauty in people.
"There's a lot of beautiful people in the world ... [People] should remember the good people, the lovely people."
Mrs Meyer received a congratulatory letter from The Queen last year.
