A man has been arrested after $56,000 worth of methylamphetamine was seized in Orange on the weekend.

About 7.30pm on Sunday, officers attached to Central West Police District attended a home on Edward Street, following reports of a domestic dispute.
Officers attempted to arrest a man before he ran from the home.
Following a short foot pursuit, officers arrested the 39-year-old man and seized two packages of powder believed to be methylamphetamine and over $6500 of cash.
The packages have an estimated potential street value of approximately $56,000.
The man was taken to Orange Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug and deal with property proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court.
