Long-time journalist, book author and president of the Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club, Denis Gregory, 83, died on Friday evening.

Mr Gregory started his working life as a printer at the Central Western Daily and began writing a weekly motoring column before he was asked to join the newsroom as a journalist.
Mr Gregory was soon given the job of local government reporter while also covering police rounds.
During his career at the CWD he worked through the ranks to fill most senior positions before leaving to work for Fairfax.
Over the years he wrote for several publications including the Sydney Morning Herald and the Sun Herald.
In later life he also wrote the weekly Stop Press column for the CWD which he continued to write even as he battled cancer at Orange Hospital.
Mr Gregory's role as president of the Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club occupied his later years however he was also an active member of the Orange Rail Action Group and the Orange Men's Darts Association.
Mr Gregory's son Dean told the CWD he was incredibly proud of all his father had achieved in life.
Details of Mr Gregory's funeral will be published in the CWD this week and a longer account of his life and career will appear in the CWD on Thursday in place of his column.
