The second round of the Bathurst Orange Inter-District Cricket premiership has been washed out, with games in Orange and Bathurst both abandoned.
Wade Park wasn't covered as of Friday afternoon, ensuring the pin was pulled on both Saturday's BOIDC clash pitting CYMS and Centrals against each other as well as Friday night's highly anticipated Royal Hotel Cup fixture between St Pat's Old Boys and Orange City.
ORC was scheduled to travel to Orange to play City on Saturday at Riawena Oval but it has been washed out, while games in Bathurst between Rugby and Cavs (Morse Park 2), City Colts and St Pat's (George Park) and Centennials Bulls and Bathurst City (Morse Park 1) will also have the points shared.
Orange received 20.4mm to 9am on Friday morning, with a further 3mm recorded in the rain gauge at the Bureau of Meteorology's Orange base at the airport to 1pm on Friday.
Almost 10mm of rain has fallen across Bathurst over the same period of time.
The rain is expected to continue into Saturday, too, with up to 5mm expected in Orange on Saturday before the chance of another 20mm on Sunday.
BOIDC and Orange District Cricket Association president Mark Frecklington confirmed the wash outs, with turf games impacted across lower grades in the colour city too.
The ODCA normally updates its alternate ground schedule on a Friday evening.
