Run by mother and daughter team Helen McBurnie and Jordan Garlick the business has been running for almost four years.
Recently the shop expanded into the neighbouring business previously occupied by Angus Barrett Saddlery and Leather Goods.
"We just needed more space, we wanted to have more products to sell," Mrs McBurnie said.
New office for McGrath
Having rebranded to McGrath Orange in July this year, Josh Fitzgerald and his expanding team are now enjoying a new office at 185 Lords Place.
The new office was previously occupied by Leading Edge Computers, between Good Eddy and The Australia Cinema building. The office was specifically designed and branded by McGrath head office in Sydney, styled by Derham Interiors, built by Central West Office Interiors and additional local tradespeople were also employed.
"Along with our Molong office, this is a fantastic space," Mr Fitzgerald said. "While we have a large team already, we can comfortably increase the property management and sales team due to market demand."
The new office has a podcast and recording studio, several meeting rooms and a large boardroom available for free use by community groups and not-for-profit committees for meetings.
Designer dresses for hire
As people embrace being able to attend events again Aysia Sumirta has created a business for women who want to dress up for an occasion without forking out the big bucks or rewearing the same clothes.
Miss Sumirta launched Calico Designer Hire after recently moving from Newcastle to Orange and seeing a need for a business where people can hire a designer dress.
She said she had seen other businesses make a success of it in Newcastle before launching the business.
Calico Designer Hire is currently based only on Instagram but Miss Sumirta said she plans to have a website down the track. People can rent the dresses for four days including insurance for damages. She said they can be obtained via postage or people can try them on for the best fit.
