The event will feature three prominent local gardens opening their gates for an entire Saturday for people to wander through.
All proceeds from entry fees and stalls will support Orange Public School and help enhance the learning of students, a P&C spokesperson said.
"We've gone with larger gardens this year so that we can have a COVID safe event.... and it's really exciting because we've had some wonderful rain over winter and garden owners have been in lockdown so they've been spending more and more time in their gardens," the spokesperson said.
"So, although there's less gardens, they're all really large and impressive ones, and it's really exciting to be able to have an event when we thought we wouldn't be able to."
On Saturday, November 13, between 9am and 4pm, there will be three gardens for people to visit in any order, with the entry fee and specific locations announced closer to the date.
"Our main motivation this year is to kind of celebrate that we can have an event and celebrate the beautiful spring gardens of Orange," the spokesperson said.
"People can choose to visit in whatever order they want, and we encourage people to spread it out through the day to make sure that we can get as many people through the gardens within our visitor restrictions as possible."
Tickets will just be sold at the gardens on the day. For updates about the Orange Open Gardens, including the addresses of the gardens involved, follow the event's Facebook page.
