At around 3.30pm on October 24, a 28-year-old woman visited a house in Wellington, a house she knew the occupant of, before things turned sour.
The occupant of the home, a 34-year-old woman, allegedly threatened her guest with a knife before demanding money be transferred into her bank account.
The occupant then allegedly punched, kicked and dragged the woman outside the home before the younger woman fled the location on foot.
NSW Police were notified of the alleged attack and commenced an investagation, and following inquiries the 34-year-old was arrested at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
She was taken to Wellington Police Station and charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon.
The injured woman was taken to Wellington Hospital where she had her face and wrist looked at, before being transferred to Dubbo Base Hospital for further treatment, where she remains in a stable condition.
The woman was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court.
