Those six cases make up the new detections across the Western NSW Local Health District on Monday.
The Western NSW LHD says the Orange case is a household contact of a previous case.
Two of the Bathurst cases have been identified as household contacts of previous cases too, while two others have been identified as otherwise linked to previous cases and one case remains under investigation.
The new case in Orange follows a weekend where a public school in the city was forced to close its doors for a deep clean after a member of the school community tested positive to the virus.
Bowen Public School is closed on Monday but is expected to reopen on Tuesday, with the Department of Education having the school cleaned.
