Services across NSW were gradually paused in response to the risk posed by the COVID-19 Delta strain and a need to redeploy staff to support the pandemic response at each local health district.
BreastScreen NSW will be contacting women who had their appointments cancelled during the temporary suspension as a priority.
BreastScreen NSW Greater Western Manager, Meg O'Brien, said women who had their appointments cancelled should wait to be contacted before calling the service.
"Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure women can rebook their life-saving breast screen as soon as possible," Ms O'Brien said.
Mobile clinics will be visiting Forbes from Monday 18 October and Tottenham, Tullamore and Trundle from Saturday, October 30.
BreastScreen NSW has implemented COVID-19 safe measures at its clinics and mobile screening vans to protect women, staff and the wider community.
It is now mandatory for all NSW Health staff to be double-vaccinated by Tuesday, November 30.
Any women experiencing breast symptoms are urged to see their regular doctor without delay.
