The total number of new cases since Monday is now 8.

According to health authorities, this latest case was not infectious in the community.

There were long lines for testing at Orange's two drive-through clinics on Wednesday. Wade Park and the Orange Showgrounds are open every day from 8am until 4pm and bookings are not required. The current wait-times at both are at least an hour.

Up to 8pm Tuesday there were 14 new cases of COVID-19 identified across the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD). There were in Walgett (8), Collarenabri (2), Wellington (2), Orange (1) and Bathurst (1).

Of these locations' new cases, both of Collarenebri's cases were infectious in the community, as were Wellington's two. While five of Walgett's 8 were infectious in the community

On Tuesday night, a menswear store, an art gallery and a pharmacy were listed alongside nine other locations on NSW Health's latest update of exposure sites.

Earlier yesterday, a further four cases were officially added to Orange's tally, on top of the three reported by NSW Health the day prior.

Following this week's outbreak, WNSWLHD made vaccination available at clinics in Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo without appointments.

WNSWLHD Chief Executive Scott McLachlan said that while bookings can still be made online or by calling HealthDirect, opening the permanent clinics up for walk-ins is the next logical step in the district's vaccination program and will help boost vaccination rates even further.

In total, there has been 1516 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in WNSWLHD, and 13 deaths. The latest was announced nearly a week ago on Thursday - the man was Aboriginal and in his 50s. He died at Wellington Hospital. He had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and had "underlying health conditions", WNSWLHD said.

COVID-19 testing is currently available at the Wade Park drive-through clinic from 8am to 4pm, and at the Orange Showgrounds from 8am to 4pm.

Bookings are not required for either drive-through clinic.
