Emergency services were called the roundabout at about 2.45pm after reports of an accident.
Ambulance officers assessed the driver who was out the cab but he sustained only minor injuries and was not transported to hospital.
Mandatory drug and alchohol testing was carried out.
An Orange City Council crew was called to clean up an oil spill from the truck's engine.
Police were also waiting on a heavy tow vehicle which was called from Bathurst to right the truck and were therefore unsure how long the lane would be out of action.
In the meantime, eastbound traffic was directed along Molong Road.
Police believe the truck had come from Forbes Road and was going straight ahead through the roundabout before the driver lost control.
The truck was carrying a load of wheat.
Anyone with information should phone Orange Police on 6363 6399.
