Cindy Murphy, Bernadette Allen and Allecia Ward have put their hands up for Cr Mileto's independant ticket.
Cr Mileto, who is also running for mayor, said he wanted running mates that represented the values and the expectations of the community and provided diversity.
"As the head of a ticket, I wanted to include candidates who understand what our community expectations are, also what we need to do better to make Orange the best city that it can be in the future," he said.
Ms Allen works in various positions within the community services sector in roles supporting at-risk youth, sexual assault counselling and drug and alcohol support.
"Her current position as the Domestic Family Violence Specialist (Youth Focus) with the Central West Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, advocates and supports women and their families that experience family and domestic violence," Cr Mileto said.
"She is the co-chair of the Suicide Prevention Network in Orange and works tirelessly with other community and network members who are also committed to lowering, not only the number of suicides in Orange but Australia wide."
Ms Murphy is studying psychology.
"Her focus is about developing more informal support channels for individuals with potential mental health issues to try and provide preventative measures, "Cr Mileto said.
"She would like to see greater initiatives throughout the community to promote environmentally sustainable practices."
Ms Ward has been a student learning support officer for eight years and is passionate about education and providing a community where children thrive.
Her main focuses are the continued infrastructure of roads and footpaths, continuation of the FutureCity project which she believes adds value to the beautification of Orange and water security and conservation for our growing population.
Cr Mileto will announce the names of the remaining two positions on his ticket in the next fortnight.
